Benefit Showcase for Invisble Children

WVX is pleased to inform everyone that we raised over $360 in cash for the organization devoted to helping children in Uganda called Invisible Children. To sweeten the pot a little bit, we also will donate 60% of the ticket sales from our showcase to the organization.

Representatives from the UNC-Greensboro Chapter of the Invisible Children of Uganda were present at the showcase and were overwhelmed with how much we raised for these children. We re-ignited a flame for them and gave them a little bit of encouragement. However, we cannot take all the credit. Each and every individual who donated, whether one penny or one dollar, made this all possible.

To sum it all up, we not only met our goal of $150, we more than doubled it.

As our president stated Fall of 2009, "The world inspires us, it's only fair that we inspire the world."

Spring 2010

Well Versed Xpressionz has added 6 new members to the family. Though, we have also been hit with a couple of losses we will continue to remain strong. We currently have a total of 19 members.

We intend to better ourselves and our performance each and every day. We are striving for excellence and we can only hope and/or pray that we reach the potential that we know we have. Please be on the look out for upcoming shows and events and show your love whenever and wherever its needed.

Expansion

Growth is a part of life. And as we grow as an organization we see how our work, our growth, has affected the tiny community around us. After noticing this we then wonder, if we have affected so many so quickly on a small scale, what could we do once we reach an even larger audience?

Well Versed Xpressionz is expanding. Individually and collectively as an organization we are reaching higher heights, digging deeper depths, and growing closer day by day. Of course, growth is expected but it still is a surprise. Especially when so many around us remain stagnate.

More and more our members proclaim that WVX keeps them grounded. More and more it is evident how an organization can do more than raise money and make friends. We can inspire, we can encourage, we can thrive...together. Will you take part in our expansion?
